As 'Lee Greenwood' sings his song with such emotion, "And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free...etc, etc, etc," I am so thankful for the freedoms we still have here in the good old USA.
My prayer for you, your family and this wonderful nation.
"Lord help us to stay united in our God given nation even though so many changes are starting to happen right before our eyes. Let us remember what our founding fathers stood for and stood on as this country started to take shape. Let us not forget it's because of YOU that we have been one nation, under God, and that we are a nation who still prays and asks for Your forgiveness. Continue to give Your strength and wisdom to those who still honor and believe in your name. Help us to forgive our enemies who try to destroy the values and principals of this great land. May Your grace and mercy continue to cover our country as we celebrate this 4th of July, 2009!"
