Wowzaaaa...this is a first for us, we spotted this beautiful hot air balloon last Saturday right outside our front door. It was breathtaking to see this bright colored balloon floating across the mountain backdrop. I captured the sighting the best I could with my camera.
I'll be asking around town about this, maybe someone is giving rides. Wouldn't that be fun to do? Wanted to share a little bit of beauty with you out there in blogdom.

And how serendipitous that it was a RED hot air balloon. Perfect photos and it does make one think about taking a balloon ride.

What amazing scenery. The red balloon is certainly the best colour for the background.
Maybe it was a tourist flight as I cannot imagine there would be much call for balloon advertising in such a place.

Update on the balloon...apparently the balloon came from a nearby upscale "Dude Ranch" that was giving rides to their guests. Too bad they are not offering this to the public, o'well it was a fun thought!
Oh wow, I'd really LOVE to be in that balloon! One of these days . . .
