It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas



Merry Christmas!!! I am really in the Christmas spirit these days, loving our sunny cold days and enjoying the atmosphere of the holiday around our home. My decor seems to evolve throughout the month...I just keep adding and adding more vignettes...oh my, I never think about the take down in January...LOL!

May your home be filled with the atmosphere of God's love and peace, and may you be surrounded with loved ones this Christmas season.

Summer Stock Sunday

Summer is right around the corner, but here in Montana we're just now enjoying "Spring"! I thought I would join this event and share some of our Montana beauty with you!

A Wee bit more Progress...

Spring is here, the snow is gone (finally), it's turning green right before our eyes, the wildlife is abundant, and the temps have warmed up. That combination allows me to open windows and stain window casements and door trim. Progress...sighhhhhh, sounds good to my ears.
Here's a few photos of the doings...

Main floor door trim...stayed with the "craftsman" style look.

Upstairs view...painted the wall in my green color.

Added new cushions in the sun porch.

Temporary fix for the fireplace box, gas insert and custom mantel to come.

Installed 5 outside lanterns...this is the smallest of the 5.

I actually have flowers blooming inside, still too chilly at night to put this on the deck.

A Winter's Sleigh Ride

Sleigh rides just sound fun, don't they?  When I learned that our town was offering this, I jumped on the opportunity to take part. So...I got our friends together, scheduled the ride on "New Year's Eve" day, bundled up, grabbed the camera and made some great memories.

A fun group, after our ride we gathered for a soup pot-luck and rang in the New Year together!
